I even found it offensive for men because Steve Harvey describes men as ‘simple creatures’ that are only after money and intimacy. In fact, I found myself getting really agitated and angered at some of the comments that Steve Harvey made. The idea that a woman’s sole aspiration should be to please her husband does not sit right with me. How can you go as far as to generalise that men just want to make money and women just want to stay at home and serve their families? And while this a respectable goal and there’s nothing wrong with working towards wanting a happy family, you can't ignore the women who have other goals such as career advancement, etc. Steve Harvey’s view of a woman in the entire book is a person whose goal in life is to get a husband, a family and a big house - that’s it. In one of the chapters on infidelity, Harvey goes as far as blaming women for their cheating husbands.

I’m not sure where to begin but has Steve Harvey heard of feminism?
